Taking care of Pets during the Long Emergency

Snake bit the dog in the face 3 times but nobody knew but her, she swole up like a basketball.

We pumped her up with vitamin c powder water and some pain killers crushed up and she got better very very slowly. Miraculously she survived to bully the others again but it was a very serious close call where we could have been the victim if not for our pets bravery. In retrospect I remember coming out of the outdoor shower and having a fleeting thought about how easy it could happen, I could get bit right on the foot coming out of the shower innocent like,,and then the dogs started barking at something and I ignored it and went bout my business as normal, but when they went silent something felt wrong, and it was her,,our dear guard dog momma, bit and in pain whimpering on the the steps into the recesses of the RV. Gotta leave em off their leashes thanks to politics but in reality she could have saved our lives that night.
